Using Origami at scale, we found unique ways to manipulate space and capture viewers sparking wonder and curiosity within.

The prototype created a defined space for art viewing that felt comforting, intimate, and immersive. “You get space to reflect by yourself. It feels more private... it's way more immersive”.

Users perceived a sensory extension of the painting into the space created by the prototype. This potential led to $12,000 funding and continuation of our project and research into Origami as an agent for space creation and sensory immersion @ the Georgia Tech School of Industrial Design Robotic Environments Lab.
